As we enter a new year, we are excited to share organizational changes within the MD Logistics leadership team.
Robert Grange, Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs, will be leaving MD Logistics to enter retirement, effective December 29th. Robert began his career at MD Logistics in 2006, just as the MD Logistics began to establish itself as a niche 3PL partner in the life sciences and pharmaceuticals industry. As the Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs, Robert was instrumental in building the framework for the MD Logistics Quality and Regulatory department and developing the team that is in place today. Having direct oversight of the regulatory environment within the state of the art pharmaceutical facilities that MD Logistics operates, Robert worked closely with internal operations teams and our clients to ensure our systems were in compliance with their requirements and industry regulations. At the beginning of his career with MD Logistics, Robert was tasked with formulating the foundations of a quality system which would include current and future clients. This system included quality manuals and streamlined operations procedures that would need to be followed companywide. Built on a strong foundation, this quality system is a cornerstone of the MD Logistics organization, today.
We are pleased to announce the promotion of Cheyanne Morrison to Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs. Succeeding Robert, Cheyanne will lead both the MD Logistics quality and regulatory departments to the same high standard that our clients have come to expect. Cheyanne has an extensive history with MD Logistics, one that spans over a decade and includes various roles within the operations and quality departments. Having started with the organization as a temporary associate on the MD Packaging Services line in our pharmaceutical operation, Cheyanne has experience with every facet of the business. As Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs, Cheyanne brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience which will aid in her continued success in this new role. She looks forward to continuing interactions with clients and ensuring our Operations Teams have what they need to be successful, keeping quality top of mind.
For close to a decade, Cheyanne and Robert have worked hand in hand within the Quality Department, growing the department alongside MD Logistics life sciences and pharmaceuticals business segment. Over the last few months, Cheyanne and Robert have been working in-parallel to minimize any potential disruptions to communications between internal teams and external clients. Both have prioritized a smooth transition of leadership within the department.
“We are extremely thankful for the many contributions Robert has made to MD Logistics during his tenure. His leadership within the organization, specifically within the quality department, is a contributing factor to our recognition as a leading 3PL within the Life Sciences and Pharmaceuticals industry. We wish him the very best in his retirement.” Says John Sell, President and CEO, “We are extremely proud to announce the promotion of Cheyanne Morrison to Director of Quality & Regulatory Affairs. Having been with MD Logistics since 2011, Cheyanne has held a variety of positions within our operations and quality teams, learning every facet of our life sciences and pharmaceuticals business. We know she will lead our quality and regulatory teams to the same high standard of excellence in which the MD Logistics brand has become known for. The future is bright for rising leaders at MD Logistics and we are excited for what is to come.”
