MD Logistics Named ‘Top 100 3PL Provider’ by Inbound Logistics Magazine for the 13th Consecutive Year

For the 13th year in a row, MD Logistics has been recognized as a Top 100 3PL, after experiencing another year of network expansion.  Not only did MDL experience  warehouse capacity growth, but we also brought additional value-added services to market for our clients. Earlier this year, we announced the conversion of an existing facility in our Plainfield, Indiana campus. While this warehouse space is not a new addition to our total organizational footprint, it is newly available  cGMP, temperature-controlled space to both existing and potential clients in the life sciences and pharmaceuticals industry. The conversion of this capacity to the life sciences and pharmaceuticals industry is in direct response to the continued growing needs of that industry for readily available pharmaceutical-grade warehouse space.

We also announced the addition of two Electric Vehicle (EV) trucks to our cold chain transportation services available in Garner, North Carolina. The addition of these two trucks allows MD Logistics to offer a more sustainable, local transportation option for our pharmaceutical clients within the southeast region of the US. As the industry moves towards the adoption of sustainable practices, it is paramount that 3PL’s offer sustainable solutions for clients.

Experiencing growth, both in capacity and in service offerings, is especially significant for our team. Being able to deliver customized solutions, tailored to client needs, is of the utmost importance to our team. Being named a Top 100 3PL by the editors at Inbound Logistics Magazine for the 13th consecutive year, rounds out a record year.

“Inbound Logistics editors selected MD Logistics as a 2024 Top 100 3PL Provider for its exceptional ability to navigate complex supply chain challenges and deliver outstanding logistics solutions.” States Felecia Stratton, editor, Inbound Logistics Magazine. “MD Logistics demonstrated a commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence, solidifying its position as an industry leader.”

Annually, hundreds of logistics providers apply for the chance to be named a Top 100 3PL provider by the team at Inbound Logistics. This year’s list of 100 was derived from an applicant pool of more than 400 companies. The service providers ultimately named to the list, were companies that, in the opinion of the editors of Inbound Logistics, offer the “diverse operational capabilities and experience driving efficiency and operational excellence for today’s demand-driven enterprises.

“The distinction of being named to the Top 100 3PL provider list for the 13th consecutive year is an accolade we are extremely proud of.” States John Sell, President and CEO, MD Logistics. “As our team continues to respond to client needs and industry demands, with customized and innovative solutions, they are most deserving of this distinction. Without an industry leading team, like the team at MD Logistics, we wouldn’t be a Top 3PL.”
