2021 has been a year of transition for those who operate within the logistics industry. As the events of 2020 continue to influence trends in supply chains everywhere, 3PL providers have been tasked with responding to these demands, changing their business processes and adding additional storage options to meet increased demand. As we near completion of an expansion on our 2-8°C pharmaceutical grade cooler, we are pleased to be named a Top 100 3PL provider by Inbound Logistics Magazine for the 10th consecutive year. This year marks a decade as a Top 100 3PL provider, an accolade we are most proud of.
“When a business disruption like no other challenged supply chains last year, it was 3PLs who stepped up. From ramping up e-commerce fulfillment strategies to finding capacity where none exists to managing global trade upheaval, leading 3PLs such as MD Logistics provided the needed solutions. In recognition of that effort, Inbound Logistics editors chose MD Logistics as a 2021 Top 100 3PL Provider.” Stated Inbound Logistics Editor, Felecia Stratton.
Yearly, Inbound Logistics Magazine puts together a comprehensive list of the top 100 third party logistics providers in the U.S. This list represents those 3PL’s who the Inbound Logistics staff feels are the best equipped to both meet and exceed their audience’s evolving outsourcing needs. This year’s list was especially difficult to choose as more 3PLs enter the logistics industry and existing providers from other functional areas develop their own value-added supply chain capabilities. Choosing from over 300 applicants, the editors at Inbound Logistics feels that the service providers who were named to this years list are companies that, “offer the diverse operational capabilities and experience to meet our audience’s unique supply chain and logistics needs”.
“It has been an honor to be named a Top 100 3PL Provider by the team at Inbound Logistics for the past 10 consecutive years.” States Mark Sell, President and CEO of MD Logistics. “It is especially sweet this year as those in the logistics industry everywhere have had to make changes to their processes, in response to the changes brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. I am extremely proud of how our MD Logistics team has risen to the challenge and continued to both meet and exceed the evolving needs of the industry, all while providing the same quality of service our customers have to come to expect from us! We look forward to continuing that tradition in the years to come.”
